What are your favorite iOS/Android apps?

I’m really curious to find out what your favorite iOS or Android apps are. If you don’t mind sharing your preferences with me and spending a couple of minutes on writing them down, please drop a comment. You’ll get my eternal gratitude!

PS. You can name as many as you want as long as you consider them killer (or favorite apps).

  3. evernote is really handy and syncs to a lot my other apps.
Dropbox is great for file storage too, and google docs, productivity on the go.

  4. I have a Nexus One and my favorite apps are:

    1-Google Maps
2-Google Gesture Search ( Lifesaver for finding installed apps )
    3-Weather Bug
4-RunKeeper ( although they should have named it WalkKeeper for me. )
    5-Twitter ( It’s getting better all the time. )

And of course I have to mention my app: RunPee. Many people say it’s not just the greatest app it’s the greatest *thing* ever. Who am I to disagree? :-)

  7. Favorite apps and the games I have wasted the most time on:

    iPhone and iPad:
    – The American Heritage Deluxe Dictionary and Thesaurus
    – USA Today (a really nice app on the iPad and the content is currently free)
    – Dropbox
    – Infinity Blade (beat all levels including dungeon)
    – Angry Birds

    Xoom:
    Plants versus Zombies
    Angry Birds Rio

In general, I think I like the iPad2 better (largely due to weight and that my AIR app I’m working on seems smoother than on the Xoom). However, I prefer the browser on my Xoom. And I can watch AdobeTV videos on it!

  8. My favorite iPhone app is wedding app because It’s has whole resources of wedding and other favorite app are Facebook and the twitter.

  9. Favourite apps on my Nexus S:

Double Twist: easily replaced the ugly stock music app on Android. It’s gorgeous, works well and AirSync (paid upgrade) works like a charm.

Runik: Great gem matching game with an interesting mechanic. Definitely worth checking out.

WorldMate: Manages all of my flight details plus has some handy tools (Weather, Currency Converter, Hotel Bookings).

Beautiful Widgets: Almost forgot to mention this because it’s never have to interact with it. I use the Clock and 4 day forecast as widgets.

Timeriffic: Another app that I use every day but never interact with. Set how you want your ring tone and wifi to function during the day in separate profiles and you’re done.

  10. well, iPad:
    – flipboard
    Android:
    – google maps & navigation
    – gmail
    – orario treni
    – ilmeteo

and I use (google docs, google reader etc.) lots of web-app
